“With a passion for capturing life’s most memorable moments, I’m Shamya J’nel, or just mya, your photographer, specializing in Maternity, Mile stone/Birthday, Infant, Family, Boudoir, Graduation, Wedding, Event, and Branding photography. My journey in photography began 8 years ago in high school when I was 16 years old in New Orleans, Louisiana where I was born and raised.

Over the years, I have honed my craft to deliver exceptional visuals that tell a unique story and turns anyone into a model. I am now 25 years old, certified in technical studies focusing photography, with an associates degree in Applied science Visual Communications focusing graphic design. I have been a licensed company for 3 years. I take pride in my details, set, creativity, and posing to fit each client to ensure every shot reflects the true essence of perfection. I strive to provide images that exceed expectations and leave a lasting impression.

When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy traveling and shopping. My goal is to continuously evolve as a photographer and bring fresh creativity to each project I undertake.”
